MISSION

Blank Space SE welcomes all professional, experimental, visionary, original artists and organizations to use the space as their own temporary creative home. This space was created as an ideal rental space for all creative projects and outlets. Use the space to produce your own art exhibit, a small scale dance, theater practice or performance space, a short term studio, create a new installation piece...Blank Space SE is a place to think outside the box.


ABOUT
Blank Space SE is a project of the ARCH Development Corporation (ADC), a nineteen year old not for profit dedicated to the creative revitalization of the Historic Anacostia community in Washington, D.C. ADC feels that organized facilities and development programs designed to attract creative community-based organizations can serve as the engine for neighborhood economic development. Along with Honfleur Gallery, The Gallery at Vivid Solutions, Vivid Solutions DC Print Lab and The Hive, Blank Space SE was developed in support of ADC's efforts.

RENT

Blank Space SE is 900 square feet, with 700 square feet of gallery/usable space along with a 200 square feet office space. All doors are handicap accessible.

The rental rates are:
2 weeks = $1000
5 weeks = $1800
7 weeks = $2500

These affordable rates include high speed internet, all utilities, Panasonic wall mounted compact Stereo System with iPod dock and the use of Blank Space SE’s home page to post your event on our website. You will be given the keys to use Blank Space SE as Your Space. It is your responsibility for all preparations. (This includes staffing and press.) Renters can include (but are not limited too) individual artists, galleries, theater groups, non-profits, installations, work space, exhibits, small concerts or any
creative events.
