ARCH Training Center, founded in 1986, is a Washington, DC not-for-profit, community-based organization, located in the historic Anacostia neighborhood. The mission of ARCH is to serve as a catalyst, primarily in Ward 8, east of the Anacostia River, ensuring individuals and families access to quality education, livable wage jobs, affordable housing access to effective health and social services. ARCH exists to ensure that youth, adults and families have the tools they need to live independently. Traditionally, this has been accomplished through programs aimed at providing educational enhancement and skills training that result in livable wage jobs. ARCH's experience in operating complex programs is extensive. ARCH provides the above services to more than 600 clients a year.
