ESLA ordered the absolutely delicious Curried Chicken over rice which we enjoyed on Fireside's new outdoor seating. Perfect way to spend an afternoon.
From Anacostia to Jamaica by way of lunch.

Fireside Fever
It seemed as if everyone was in the mood for a "Taste of Jamaica" today. Business was booming at community favorite Fireside Restaurant. The "Special of the Day" might have been Brown Chicken Stew but that didn't stop the kitchen from turning out orders of Curried Chicken, Jerked Chicken, Rice & Peas, Curried Shrimp, and Jerk Chicken Salad to name a few.
