Curbside Cupcake Mania

The cupcake fairies known as Curbside Cupcake Truck paid another visit to Anacostia today. It seemed that everyone was indulging their sweet tooth with red velvet, chocolate, and the new Tequila Sunrise cupcakes. Sugar rushes were enjoyed by all. ABOUT HISTORIC ANACOSTIA

Historic Anacostia is a neighborhood in Ward 8 located in Washington, D.C.

Incorporated in 1854 as "Uniontown" the neighborhood was one of the first suburbs in the District of Columbia. The name "Anacostia" comes from an early settlement of Necostan or Anacostan Indians who lived on the banks of the Anacostia River.
