We have five lottery tickets and we are feeling lucky! First thing we are buying if we win? A big coffee table to go with the Big Chair... or maybe just a really big cupcake. Hmmm...

ABOUT HISTORIC ANACOSTIA

Historic Anacostia is a neighborhood in Ward 8 located in Washington, D.C.

Incorporated in 1854 as "Uniontown" the neighborhood was one of the first suburbs in the District of Columbia. The name "Anacostia" comes from an early settlement of Necostan or Anacostan Indians who lived on the banks of the Anacostia River.
