Tonight @ 6pm: Meeting To Discuss Public Art Installation

Dear Everyone,

I wanted to remind you to come out to the DHCD Housing Resource Center (1800 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave SE) tomorrow, Thursday October 20^th, from 6:00-7:00pm to comment on the planned public art installation for 1201-1203 Good Hope Rd. Please share this reminder with your neighbors and networks.

This will be your opportunity to have your input heard by the artists who will submit proposals for the site. As we shared last week, artists will be expected to create designs that include a totem pole, but that also address the landscape, lighting, and surrounding walls and fence. The Art Selection Panel chosen by the DC Commission on Arts and Humanities will take all of your comments into consideration when reviewing the proposals and making a recommendation to the CAH Board of Commissioners.
