Thanks for posting,we went there last night after reading this. Liked the pizza and wings so much, went back today to try their delicious steak and cheese. Best part needs repeating from your article above... she bakes her own bread!

ABOUT HISTORIC ANACOSTIA

Historic Anacostia is a neighborhood in Ward 8 located in Washington, D.C.

Incorporated in 1854 as "Uniontown" the neighborhood was one of the first suburbs in the District of Columbia. The name "Anacostia" comes from an early settlement of Necostan or Anacostan Indians who lived on the banks of the Anacostia River.
