Vivid Solutions Digital Print Lab gets Anacostia picture perfect

Shannon + Andrea over at Vivid Solutions DC Digital Print Lab (2208 MLK Jr. Ave SE) working hard to get all the posters, signs, and window decals printed for the LUMEN8Anacostia Festival Finale on Saturday, June 16th.

ABOUT HISTORIC ANACOSTIA

Historic Anacostia is a neighborhood in Ward 8 located in Washington, D.C.

Incorporated in 1854 as "Uniontown" the neighborhood was one of the first suburbs in the District of Columbia. The name "Anacostia" comes from an early settlement of Necostan or Anacostan Indians who lived on the banks of the Anacostia River.

"The core of the Anacostia historic district was incorporated in 1854 and is approximately 20 squares.
