A new construction company is setting up shop on Martin Luther King Jr. Ave on the corner of U Street SE. The new construction company has set up temporary offices for the next two years in a formerly vacant lot. While we are sad that the amazing MLK mural is partially blocked we are happy to see more businesses move into the community.
Wondering how they put the building up so fast? Surprise! It really is a combination of three trailers being retrofitted to look like a regular brick and mortar building. A little birdie shared with ESLA that when complete this building will have a fresh coat of paint, shutters, and some landscaping. Sweet!
