Last Saturday Gabriel Tripodo and partners hosted an open house of what will soon be Cedar Hill Bar and Grill (formerly Uniontown Bar & Grill). Check out the pictures, floorplans, and the highly anticipated second floor expansion! To lean more visit www.congressheightsontherise.com for a write up!

ABOUT HISTORIC ANACOSTIA

Historic Anacostia is a neighborhood in Ward 8 located in Washington, D.C.

Incorporated in 1854 as "Uniontown" the neighborhood was one of the first suburbs in the District of Columbia. The name "Anacostia" comes from an early settlement of Necostan or Anacostan Indians who lived on the banks of the Anacostia River.

"The core of the Anacostia historic district was incorporated in 1854 and is approximately 20 squares.
