Brought to you by Kera Carpenter owner and operator of the Domku Cafe & Bar in Petworth. The NURISH Food + Drink cafe will have a coffee bar and service light fare for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. 15% of the proceeds from the cafe will go toward a training program for Anacostia youth interested in the food business!
Your loan will go toward helping the NURISH cafe buy the equipment they need to make this cafe a success for our community. With that in mind, ESLA needs you to put your money where your mouth is when you say you are for economic development east of the river! We don't have the resources or options of most communities do when it comes to attracting and retaining small businesses. We have to get creative with our projects. In this case, a little bit has to go a long way and it is better when the "little bit" comes in a 0% interest loan. Please spread the word and make a pledge today! It will be greatly appreciated!
