Today | Grand Opening of Vintage & Charmed + Nubian Hueman boutiques

Today's Grand Opening of the Anacostia Arts Center include to new clothing stores: Vintage & Charmed (12-6pm) and Nubian Hueman (4pm-8pm). Check them out! Lots of free events including music performances!

The Anacostia Arts Center is located at 1231 Good Hope Rd SE. Free on street parking. See you there!

ABOUT HISTORIC ANACOSTIA

Historic Anacostia is a neighborhood in Ward 8 located in Washington, D.C.

Incorporated in 1854 as "Uniontown" the neighborhood was one of the first suburbs in the District of Columbia. The name "Anacostia" comes from an early settlement of Necostan or Anacostan Indians who lived on the banks of the Anacostia River.
