 During the “Big Reveal” event on Friday, September 10 there were many different activities and performances taking place on Martin Luther King Jr. Ave and Good Hope Rd. In many ways, the true “big reveal” was all the wonderful gems yet to be (re)discovered in Anacostia.  One of the highlights of the Big Reveal event was a stirring musical and spoken word performance by musical group,  Poetic Vision featuring the talented Poetess Queen Francine. Poetic Vision is based in Anacostia and their music is all about positivity, inspiration, and truth. It’s a great mix of soul music, poetry and encouragement.  Poetic Vision is one of Eat Shop Live Anacostia's "Best Picks".
