Lights, Camera, Anacostia!

The cast and crew of Anacostia: The Web Series came down to Anacostia to film scenes for their highly anticipated Season 3. Including some pictures of filming at The HIVE but we pinky swore not to reveal any Season 3 secrets!

ABOUT HISTORIC ANACOSTIA

Historic Anacostia is a neighborhood in Ward 8 located in Washington, D.C.

Incorporated in 1854 as "Uniontown" the neighborhood was one of the first suburbs in the District of Columbia. The name "Anacostia" comes from an early settlement of Necostan or Anacostan Indians who lived on the banks of the Anacostia River.

"The core of the Anacostia historic district was incorporated in 1854 and is approximately 20 squares.
